Harrier Dude
Living the dream
Nope, not kidding here. I am learning as I go. I haven't even finalized my package yet (dang PRT) so I get a bit of a learning curve. The plus side is that I am eager to learn and pick things up very fast. I know that the rank structures differed though; I just thought an ensign was an O1 in every branch and it changed from there. I am applying only Navy so it's understandable, I think. (If I got repeatedly rejected I would be a Marine, in the mean time getting my self in top shape to do either. That's my goal to be a Naval Aviator: Navy, and if not, Marine. Tip of the spear both ways)
Please be sure to mention this to your OSO. You get extra points on your package if you've already applied to another service and been rejected. The recruiter gets a bonus for every applicant that he "steals" from other services, so this will expedite you package and get you accepted for sure.
I am NOT kidding about this. If anybody tries to tell you this is bullshit, DON'T BELIEVE THEM!!
