Harrier Dude
Living the dream
Nope, not kidding here. I am learning as I go. I haven't even finalized my package yet (dang PRT) so I get a bit of a learning curve. The plus side is that I am eager to learn and pick things up very fast. I know that the rank structures differed though; I just thought an ensign was an O1 in every branch and it changed from there. I am applying only Navy so it's understandable, I think. (If I got repeatedly rejected I would be a Marine, in the mean time getting my self in top shape to do either. That's my goal to be a Naval Aviator: Navy, and if not, Marine. Tip of the spear both ways )
Please be sure to mention this to your OSO. You get extra points on your package if you've already applied to another service and been rejected. The recruiter gets a bonus for every applicant that he "steals" from other services, so this will expedite you package and get you accepted for sure.
I am NOT kidding about this. If anybody tries to tell you this is bullshit, DON'T BELIEVE THEM!!
