I'm planning to enlist for only 2yrs.
And get a bachelors degree in Aviation Science (Pilot) and go to OCS,
Its gonna cost $52,000.....

So is it good to go to school when i got out of deployment or something? so that I can get my degree earlier?

deployment vecation is like 3 mons with no salary????

1. Don't go to ERAU.
2. Don't major in "Pilot"
3. Go to a state school, save 40k and enjoy life.

edit: If you have questions about any of my points, PM me. I will educate you on "pilot" degrees and ERAU.

Unless you're joining the Army, I wouldn't plan on a 2 year enlistment. Also, don't plan on being able to do anything close to full time at school while you're on active duty - especially within the first couple years. Sounds like your plan needs a reality check. Also, I know you're in Oregon and schools there don't like to tell students that they're making mistakes, but your English could use some work before you're ready to be an officer in my Navy.

I recommend you read and review some of the threads here on AW that deal with what you're trying to do. Then, come back and ask if you still have questions. Age limitations start for some programs at 27, so 23 is no problem. There's no math per se at OCS. Happy searching.

My thoughts: Go to school, You will find school even more difficult when you come from the enlisted ranks, because the 1st and 15th paycheck becomes routine. Then you get out and cant afford to live the way you have become accustomed and next thing you know you walk directly back into the enlisted side (retred).

How do enlisted people Fly hornets or whatever in the future????
what are the steps.process's required

1) They get a degree
2) They get commissioned
3) They go to flight school
4) They get selected for jets

Sorry, over-simplification but I couldn't resist. Search and/or review prior threads about this. Lots of information, and I concur....do not enlist if you plan on trying to fly. It is a very roundabout way of getting where you want to go. Ever think of NROTC, BDCP and/or OCS?

I sent you a PM BTW
