VT-4 was even great in the mid 90's when their sole purpose was to train E-2/C-2 aviators. I was a small squadron, with maybe 20 students at any one time and 15 IP's. Perhaps most of the fun stuff was gone for the tactical guys but still, nothing like flying T-2C's out of P-cola.
