Because if we called them corvettes, people would see how overpriced they are compared to the snazzy little numbers by the aforementioned name that come out of shipyards all over Europe. Since they're not corvettes, but Littoral Combat Ships, we can spend as much as we want on them!

We arent technically supposed to have cameras/phones on the flight line much less out in the aircraft. Is it a retarded overreaction to something that is somewhat a double standard when you watch plenty of helmet/inflight cam pics from active guys outside the schoolhouse? Absolutely. Unfortunately some people in our upper echelons have nothing to do other than go searching through facebook/twitter/myspace and hacking peoples accounts to find pictures taken by Army Flight Students.

There have even been people thrown out of flight school for taking quick pics with their camera phones standing in front of the aircraft down and tied up the day of their Solo. Hope mom liked the photo of her now out of the Army Son. Friggen retarded...
