IP (1820) vs CW (1810) sea duty?

Hey am working on comissioning and hoping to end up in one of these roles. I've been researching them incessantly but there's one part I cant find much about online. How do these two roles differ in terms of sea duty and shore duty? think both could potentially go to to sea, but is one more likely? Do either of these roles have much freedom in choosing what sort of places you want to go? Thanks!

First and foremost, welcome to the forum. I recommend starting your research by browsing the IWC forums on here and then checking out the CW and IP officer community pages on the MyNavy HR website, both should have a run down in terms of assignments.
