correct, the PM works with the director of OCS accessions so the Director will tell the PM we are going to have a board XXXXXX and the PM makes sure the applications are reviewed and ready to go.

I am putting my OCS packet together and I know the board needs my official college transcripts, but I am not sure whether or not I should mail them an official copy myself or have my school send them a copy.

applications are supposed to be submitted electronically, odds are if you try to have them mailed they will get lost in the maze that is NRC and never be seen again, AND the NRC processors will not see transcripts when you submit your application and reject it for a "fatal kit error".

Be wary of anyone who throws out solid dates especially for a rolling board. During last years July board we were having the same debate over when the board would release results, when a troll posted he had got "his" results that day. Everyone almost immediately called up their OR's asking if they had results (including me). Needless to say many OR's got phone calls that day because of the rumor mill, and a successful troll. Bottom line, divest yourself from the rumors and you'll save yourself a lot of frustration.

Then how do you send official so they see it?

What I did was have one mailed to me. It should come in a sealed envelop with tamper stamp. Don't open and just bring to your recruiter or FW it in a seperate envelope. My recruiter just popped it open and stuck in in my file.

I'm Active Duty so I'm not going through a recruiter. My LT is helping me.

For transcripts, my OR had me go into a local recruiters office to have them printed it out and then they signed it. Then they delivered it to him.
