On the Navy side, there are a whole host of currency and hours requirements for all the various missions we do that get tracked by ops and the individual. As previously stated, it's ultimately the responsibility of the individual to make sure he's within the currency requirements of the flight he's about to undertake. Tanking, NVGs, low levels, form, DEFTAC, BFM and landing on the boat are just a few of the various currencies that aviators have to manage.
