Also don't fret over the swimsuit. There was a girl in my class who had a 1" purple strip down the side of hers and no one said anything.
Yes you can keep your hair long. Yes you should either practice putting it up fast and sleek or chop it off. No they will not cut your hair unless you want them to.
Just left OCS in October
I have a question about hair now that the rules have seemingly changed. Does anyone know if they actually are allowing you to keep your hair long instead of chopping it off? (For Navy OCS) If so, should I start practicing putting my hair up, or should I expect it to be cut anyways.. Hair is hair, but mine does not grow quickly at all and I know that the in between bob-bun length phase sucks.
No body likes a braggart.
On a more serious note so I don't derail the thread... Disclaimer: I'm not female and I haven't been to OCS...
One thing to keep in mind is that blouses don't have liners like trousers do, so if you're wearing darker underwear, it might show through in Whites. How much that matters? I have no idea (see disclaimer).
Sports bras don't have to be white. There are some DIs who don't like to be able to see them through the yellow shirt though. I found white and black were both appropriate. When you start getting into bright colors, they show more but I still wore a bright blue one every now and then and didn't get into trouble. As far as best? I'd invest in a couple meant for runners. They also have white ones there for purchase that were actually pretty good. No underwire though. No front clasp either. I've never seen those details in a sports bra.Lol this guy. To your points, I have considered that though, so I intended to bring nude colored for whites. My biggest concern were the bras because sports bras that I need usually don't come in neutral colors so I'd wanted some input from a recent attendee about how truly concerned they are with their colors.

I have a hair question. I'm practicing putting my hair up in a bun that's within regulation but my problem is that I have curly hair and when I work out it usually gets very frizzy (as in there is often an inch high "cloud" of frizz around my head). Am I going to have to slather it in some sort of gel or other product or is the frizz acceptable during PT?
