I probably have the weirdest packet ever. Good college, but 2.4 GPA.

54 test score for SWO, with two colonels as references. Anybody care to take a guess on chances?

BA in History/Political Science/International relations from UT, a personal essay my recruiter said was "top shelf", the OAR was 5/5/6, the two reference letters were from a Naval intelligence officer in Korea and the director of Marine logistics at the Pentagon, both strongly emphasized my Christian religion, and my PRT was good-medium average, just with the run at good-high. Captain quiz bowl team in highscool with no extra curriculars in college.

I really have no idea, even my recruiter said it was a crapshoot from the GPA alone. I have no idea what it takes to override my terrible college grades.

do you have a reason your GPA is so low this may kill you but maybe not if you have reason and explained it did you happen to take calculus and physics for some reason this will help if you did well and lastly diversity or are you just the average joe white guy.
and when it all comes down to it with your GPA and middle of the road score YUP CRAP SHOOT. But i would say odds might be good for

guess you will know soon. good luck

Full-time (or more) job throughout college and a three-hour commute every day, it's a somewhat legitimate reason why college sucked, but I didn't think they would care so I didn't mention anything.

yow- you should have tried to live on campus or closer to college. if there was a legitimate reason why you had to live so far away from school, and had to have a fulltime job, i bet the board would be sympathetic. at least when you apply for NROTC scholarships, they are looking for this sort of info. the NROTC scholarship applicaiton asks the applicant to explain why they have a job and how many hours per week they spend at that job, i suppose so that the selection board can see the big picture.

Wow, I didn't know that at all, but I really didn't have military plans until senior year of college, when I broke out of fatty mcfatterson nerdville.

Ah well, only 48 hours left at the most until I can throw myself off a bridge/re-apply.

Earliest available date to head out to OCS is beginning of May for me, hopefully I'll head out before the rush of people graduating in May.

Haha, didn't expect to get accepted, hope you guys appreciate a 2.4 GPA dumbfuck!
