News sources are posting conflicting info about this all over with dates ranging from over a year ago to a month ago. It appears he was caught quite a while ago, yet only indicted recently. I just think it's a little funny that, in the midst of lots of high profile legal issues for the GOP (GAO accusations, DeLay, Frist, Rove, Libby, etc..), a rather dated story hits the news that's large enough to deflect public attention.
...and wouldn't that be just the opposite of "left-wing media" conspiracy?
