Well, to be fair - everytime he saw it, it was laying on the ground in the same spot, so he assumed it was nobody's. Still not cool though...not cool with the friendly fire!! .. that Marine needs to be disciplined... a lack of Navy bicycles doesn't mean go for targets of opportunity!
Many apologys my friend.... Your comments about IA's made me think that you had already gotten you spine removed!
The OSOs are still entering NFOs in the Marines. I'm giving the Marine Corps an ounce of credit and going to say that if they're still accepting them then you'll still have a future as one. I'm pretty sure they're not going to accept you as an NFO, put u thru OCS, TBS, all of flight training, and then say oh by the way, NFOs got phased out while you were in training, so now you're gonna be a supply officer with the NFO service agreement :icon_tong
Boy, that's a naive statement! Ask all AO's in the backseats of OV-10's. Aerial Observers were artillery officers with the secondary MOS as an AO. When the OV-10 went away, they were given the opportunity to become NFO's or get out. Those who were in AO school were not given the choice, they had to become NFO's. They were not allowed to go back to artillery. Many felt screwed and got out but some did transition to NFO. The Marine Corps does an excellent job of taking care of her own but needs of the Corps always come first. Frumby
C'mon Sir, it's WELL known throughout the Company Grade that once you get promoted to Field Grade you have to get one of two surgerys:The frontal lobes not the spine is removed. Can't you gentlemen get anything correct. Damn JO's!
