@mikwat, I would love him to come on here and share some stories, but he gets frustrated when someone even suggests that they can email him something, much less even knows how to operate a computer. He doesn't own one, he thinks they're worthless, and doesn't "expect that the whole computer fad will last very long"
It's funny how technologically dependent we are these days. I think the only checks I EVER write are to pay wardroom dues once a year. I honestly don't know what it's like to conduct business without a computer. Pretty much right as I turned 18, computers and e-commerce were in their infancy, so I was right on the cusp of the first generation of people to never pay bills by mail, or phone.
I pay all my monthly bills either automatically or with a 5 minute stop to a website/USAA. I can't imagine how disorganized I'd be and how difficult simple daily chores would be without a computer.
