Marines And Navy Differences

Thank you all for your responses, it is the kind of stuff I am looking for. I did find another thread entitled "Marine TACAIR" (I think). It provided me with some good information as well. Basically, it seemed to say : "you should pick a service based on whether or not you would be happy doing something else in that same service." Does this sound right?

Stuff like that average day post really help.

That sounds about right. Just keep in mind about the "average day" writeup is that it's for a senior JO in the middle of deployment. There's lots of trials and study before you get to be as "cool" as that guy. But once you're there, it's not a bad place to be, regardless of the community or service.
