So i had a meeting with a federal investigator today about my security clearance as part of my application. She said i had priority (I assume she was talking about priority over people in my area). Is it a good thing that I had this meeting before i have been pro-rec'd? Does this mean I have a better shot at getting pro-rec'd?

I figured that they wouldn't even bother with this until being selected.

This is standard Procedure. Your interview has nothing to do with getting PRO-REC or not.

I never did an interview for my clearance...they just sent something to my work to ask my boss some questions. Any ideas?

I didn't get interviewed yet either. I know they interview you if your going for Intel because you have the higher clearance level, but don't take my word on it I am no expert.

Just left him a message. AND just found out my workplace office is RIP. I get two months pay though, so that is nice : )

I wouldn't hold your breath on finding out today. My OR said results will most likely be posted on Friday. I went through the February board and even though the results were technically 'posted', the computer system was so jacked up that we couldn't see the results for another two days. Honestly, if someone is a good programmer and has a good sales pitch for a new operating system for this process, they would be a millionaire.

The economy is bad I guess. Sorry to hear about all of you that are getting laid off. Hope you SNAers get in above me...of course if I do and you don't, I don't think I'll make it a point to become a martyr Guess I can be thankful that I have a job, even if it isn't in the Navy.

Tell me about it. I grew up in Detroit....But hey! The property values are phenomenal and we just elected a Hall of Famer as Mayor!!!!

I found out what the officers log into to check board results (through officer tools) and went to the website... It is still timing out. I tried it and it says Network Timeout (as it has been since monday) I'll keep checking and when it works make a post so all of you can go ballistic calling your recruiters to log in and check
