Now that we have wrapped up all the Merry Christmas/Happy Holiday etc., etc. stuff.

As one get older (not as old as the Rock), Christmas is a time to be thankful that the kids are home, one from a far-off land, the grandkids are there also and the wife still puts up with me (i.e. I am not sleeping in the garage). They are all healthy, safe and home the rest of it doesn't really matter.

Why would I ask that? I don't give a shit to know what you care about. My goal was to stomp on the narrow-minded, misguided, self-serving idea that Christmas is an "American" holiday.

But just for the fun of the argument, what does socialism (which is a type of government/politics) have to do with Christmas (an event celebrated by a particular religion)?
