Mexican Generals; Why so many ribbons?

She was actually fired while on deployment for unauthorized dispensing of prescription meds. She probably had PTSD from the drill incident . . . .

Don't know who changed the title of this post. It never had anything about Mexican generals anywhere in it.

Fog, it's one of those sayings the kids are using these days :) to describe somebody someone whose uniform is ridiculously overdecorated with ribbons/medals/bling.

The saying can't be all that "hip" though, because a search in Urban Dictionary-dot-com comes up blank: "Mexican General isn't defined yet."

Thanks for trying to 'splain what happened. It looked to me like a PC attempt by someone to change the subject which was (a) about why a 1st tour CG (jg) has 4 rows of ribbons in particular, and (b) about medal-inflation in general in the US military today. I think we all got our dime's worth of discussion from the points of view expressed.

Yes, any changes must come under the guise of a thinly veiled attempt to impose some nebulous (but dangerous) PC agenda. :D You crack me up, Fog.

327: Can you give us one solid reason why you are so condescending? In my generation we were at least taught to respect our elders - and I'm old as dirt.

I met Brett once in the Whidbey O club. His bark is the result of his small stature :-)
