Misc. NKO questions

I figured as much. In the directions it said you had to be final select. However, that was for sponsorship, which I got, even though I am not final select. I thought it may have been some other issue. It's good to know the real problem now. I guess once I become final select I'll have to email my sponsor. Thanks again yall.

I completed the OCS Required classes before I was even Pro-Rec'd for Supply.

So I tried registering on the NKO site with massive failure. I'd say that's likely because I'm using a Mac. I tried using firefox and it wouldn't even open up the site. Tried the user switcher add-on that m0t recommended and that did nothing to open the site.

Anyone have any ideas other than dragging my rear to nearest PC?

Even if you get it to open when you register you must have a password that is 500 characters long that uses at least 50 capitalized letters, 358 lower case letters, 39 numbers, 86 special characters that don't include spaces to register. Try remembering that password. IMHO NKO sucks

If it were me, I would do them all before I left. At least do the Naval history one.

+1, I've made a new password every time I've logged into the site because the one I come up with is so 'secure' I forget it before I finish typing it.

To the motivated OP et al.: I wouldn't do NKO until someone explicitly tells you to. There's a fine line between initiative and sadomasochism on this one. If they want something done they'll tell you or give you time to do it later. In many cases the certs will expire within 6 months or a year, so doing them way in advance will just mean you get frustrated and do them over again unless you're handing them in soon. Case in point, a group of 44 of us just had to redo IA training we took in September because FY09 started in October so our old stuff was no good. Go run or bunny hop instead! :icon_wink

I was able to get onto it with my Mac, but only using Safari not Firefox. However, navigating NKO and getting through the security crap was much easier on a PC...
