Mooninite terrorist planting devices around Boston

I didn't know advertising was illegal...

I really hope they make a funny ATHF cartoon out of this. It's a comedy goldmine. And, hey, at least it isn't Florida that looks "sofa king retarded" this time.

"On the Moon, nerds have their pants pulled down and they are spanked with Moon rocks!" Good thing they didn't bust out the Foreigner belt.

For just a split second, I thought the title of the thread was "Mennonite Terrorists Planting Devices Around Boston"...

Boston pulls publicity stunt on behalf of Cartoon Network

Advertisements have inundated our lives, but never as far as using an entire city to catch the nation's attention.

The City of Boston, initially in support of mass-advertising in order to support its ridiculous transportation projects, quickly changed their tune to outrage when they realized that closed bridges and highways would result in angry commuters.

Bomb squads and emergency crews rushed to high-profile locations across the city, baffled by the strange devices, which resembled Light Bright children's' toys, but were made with LED's and a thin plastic backing. Police, assuming that LED's were explosive, quickly disarmed the weapons.

"It had a very sinister appearance," Massachusetts Attorney General Coakley told reporters. "It had a battery behind it, and wires."

"Our city is once again safe from dangerous southern icons" proclaimed Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis.

Boston was on high alert after three girl scouts were charged as terrorists for harboring an Easy Bake oven.

I moved to Boston a few months ago, and my mom knows I work downtown and ride my bike over the Longfellow bridge to get home.....she was pretty freaked out watching the news from across the country while my coworkers and I were laughing about the whole thing as it developed.

In a press release earlier this evening, the Mooninites have released a video, which can be seen here:

Ignignokt also added: "You could call the Earth our moon, but that would belittle the name of the Moon, which is, 'the Moon.'"

I suppose actual fake bombs are A-OK with the Boston PD.

Seriously, you have got to be sh!tting me!!!

"the hospital incident, investigators believe a former hospital employee planted the phony bomb in an office at 185 Harrison Ave. He has been identified but has not been charged, the sources said.

Boston Police bomb squad cops detonated the pipe bomb, which was a very realistic-looking fake, the sources said. "

Wait just a minute...the guy who planted the real threatening device does not get charged, but if you put retro-Atari characters up around town, you get jailed? Did I comprehend that correctly?

Did anyone see the two suspects leaving the court house? They refused to answer any questions unless they were about hair. They really pissed the reporters off. I thought it was hilarious.

"and how does that relate to hair?"
"what's that have to do with hair?"

You know, my sense of humor is fairly well developed, but there is no way I could come up with anything as funny as what actually is happening. I'm just sayin', when the Aqua Teen movie comes out, this must be in it somehow, even if it's in the credits. Mooninites unite! Lock in!
