If you can't put it in your car, you can do without it until you get your first duty station. All the furniture and accesories are there for the taking and cheap by guys who have figured out they can't take it with them.
Get used to it. You are going to learn how to cut to the bone and leave shit behind no matter how painful.

True story. I lived in a sleeping bag on the floor of a nice bedroom for the first 5 weeks I was here, at least until my roomatte lent me his air mattress so I could get sleep during API. Aside from that, I have needed very little. I would highly recommend rooming w/ FO studs if you can, as they already have their $hit down here and you can use their kitchen stuff and dishes.....and swim in the pool in their backyard and drink their bourbon...oh wait...
