Good job on running 3 miles in 14...whatever. Lets see you hump at full ramming speed with as much gear as you weigh soaking wet.

You don't have to be Karl Lewis. But good job none-the-less, just don't be that guy at OCS that causes an aggravated "slinky affect" during humps.

Thanks guys. REally appreciate you're support. And I would never put myself above the team when it came to any kind of physical exertion assuming i even had an advantage, at least not in any way that others would have to pay a price for. Just as I would expect of others. How my particular fitness would translate into the OCS regimen is something i would a) never take for granted and b) never try to use to the detriment of others. If I did, I would fully expect and hope that some very scary drill Seargent scream in my face for it.

I will challenge myself to no end, but I understand the values of teamwork I think as well as anyone. Frankly, if I caused a slinky effect during humps, kick me out of OCS. I wouldn't deserve to be there.

Again you guys all seem like great people. I can tell this is an organization that I belong in, and I hope it all comes together somehow for the best. Good luck to you guys as well. we all have our strengths and weaknesses, and in the end some of us make it and some of us don't, but I think the important thing is to be honest and give it our best shot, let the chips fall where they may. That's my philosophy anyway.

14:50? WOW.

At this point, make sure you can hump and run in boots, because that's not quite the same thing.

Side note for everyone, the reason there are so many pilot slots is that there are so many pilots. Look in the brochures, the breakdown is about a third of officers are pilots. that's a lot of guys to get recruited, and alot of one-point waivers to give out.

Why am I still awake? My plane leaves in 3 hours! Semper Fi gentlemen.
