1. I hope Notre Dame gets stomped tomorrow.
2. You better hope USC has some serious personnel issues (i.e. injuries) because OSU is going to get stomped.

Sorry, back to the point...I back Coach Jim Tressel...college students say things all the time...sometimes they're stupid...as this came out. Obviously his point was that everyone makes mistakes...sometimes those mistakes are a little worse then stealing a stick of bubblegum :icon_tong
Anyway, I'm not mad at the guy, he said it and he can deal with the repercussions...I remember when I was at Ohio State and saw people who were protesting the Israeli occupation in the West Bank by setting up a wall of milk crates across a sidewalk which was guarded by a guy with "IDF" on his tshirt, holding a Star Wars stormtrooper toy gun. I asked him when the last time he was in Israel and he said he hadn't been but was planning to go soon.
College students do dumb things by nature...oh well.

Bullshit. Terrell Pryor and I went to the same high school and his dad helped coach from time to time. He is exactly like that in real life. Nice guy but dumb as a box of rocks....and thats being nice. My high school wasn't rich nor was it known for pumping out people who are college material (i.e. - the were very few in the AP/College level classes in comparison to the rest). I def. know for a fact that he was passed through high school due to football.....
I wish him all the best, but that was def. a full retard moment and I guarantee if you were to ask him in person, it would sound exactly the same.
Dude, bad weekend all around for you...here's thinking Pryor's not the savior you all have made him out to be. For the second weekend in a row, he looked lost out there, plus he seems to be really struggling with the option plays Tressel's asking him to run. He might be amazing next year, but he needs a lot of work before he gets there.
I'm thinking the OSU-UM game's going to be a bit closer than you want, especially considering how good Forcier looked v. Notre Dame.
Oh, and I'm not a fan of either OSU or UM, so save the anti-UM stuff.

I agree with you all...Pryor said something EXTREMELY stupid...but that's on him. It's not a representation of the school, the team, the coach, or anythinganyone else...just a representation of a college student being an idiot...fine by me.
Yes, my Buckeyes lost. However, no one on this board can say that they didn't hold their own against the all-powerful/all-mighty USC. Everybody thought OSU was going to get blown out again...and it came down to the last minute. So, let's give respect where respect is due...both teams played well, but USC pulled it out in the end.
In regards to ND/scUM...ND had that game won...and they BLEW it. Totally outplayed the wolverines (from what I could tell...I had drill this weekend so could only see some of it)...but again, it's not about how hard you play...it's the points you got in the end.
Also - I never made Pryor out to be Ohio State's savior...some people have, and mistakenly so...he's way too immature on the field to be any "savior" yet. Just look at the way he throws the ball, or has poor pocket presence. He's quite the athlete but needs much more experience before he's the next Troy Smith.
