The recruiter you talked to gave you good advice. If you are sure this is what you want then apply as soon as you are eligible. Don't wait!! Things change. Get the job as soon as you can then sit back and relax while so many other guys sweat selection the month before they graduate without a job. Never understood the guy that comes into the office claiming that being a naval officer was all he ever wanted to do but he couldn't get his butt into the recruiter until he was 28 and half way through a Masters program. Given what you have written here you are not in bad shape. There is more though. Take the test ASAP in case you have to take it again. Work out so your PRT score is better then the "good-medium" score. Good Luck

It's absolutely what I want! I will probably apply in December or January when I have enough credits to be considered a junior. If I am lucky enough -considering all the great competition- to get sna/bdcp it will be great not to be stressing about selection and trying to get all the loose ends tied up for graduation. I finally got the ARCO book a few weeks ago, I've been studying it and the gouge on here and will take the ASTB as soon as possible. I've been working out also, but I need to step it up and get in better shape. I'm not in bad shape, I just want to be able to kick major *** on the prt. Thanks for your advice, it was very helpful.
