Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think there's any 'quiting' in the Marine Corps once you've been trained. There's probably a way to get dishonorably discharged or going UA, but just plain quiting doesn't happen, atleast to the best of my knowledge. My couple of pennies...
Actually, you really COULD quit at TBS, but I wouldn't recommend it for your future career. I have heard multiple times that we should notify our chain of command if we don't feel like being Marine Officers anymore. I know one Lt who failed TBS and was recommended to start TBS from square one, but instead asked to quit. That Lt has been out of training for months now, but has not been discharged as of yet. The wheels are in motion, and that Lt will soon be a member of the civilian population, but I wouldn't want to write that I was a Marine Officer for only a couple months on my resume when I am trying to get a civilian job.
Anyways, that was all just FYI.
