Conan O’Brien Must Go is masterful.
This review popped up and reminded me of a great sci-fi film from 1998, “Dark City”. Definitely different, it stars Rufus Sewell, Kiefer Sutherland, William Hurt and the stunning Jennifer Connelly. I recommend the longer director’s cut (I have the Blu-Ray disc)

I am not an expert on attack helicopter tactics, so for all I know, maybe there are scenarios where it would. But just seemed questionable to me.
I think a lot of people will see the hodgepodge of patterns in uniform and kit and think it’s weird, but at that moment in time that’s the sort of gypsy camp of consistency. We were in the middle of shifts to OCP and other stuff flowing in/out of theatre, so it’s actually on point accurate.
The post injury scenes in the movie are some of the best makeup effects and real street level violence I think I’ve ever seen.
Short of the smell I don’t think despite how “budget” the movie seemed in some aspects, that part took me to uncomfortable memories.
Would watch again, but definitely not with a spouse. I have the same rule for Lone Survivor and Black Hawk Down.

Look it isn’t gonna be “you’re Superman movie,” it’s definitely gonna be theirs. And there is enough of the same sort of adult fun buried in it that it’s very much like the first Guardians of the Galaxy. Superman is definitely the center of gravity for the film, but I’d argue he is not the main character and that’s why it worked.
