Next Pilot/NFO/SWO Rolling Board in February 2015

With all the excitement about the AD guys hearing about an NFO board happening on 3 FEB: I thought there were no more non priors allowed to submit for NFO until further notice, isn't it more likely that NFO board is for priors only?

Either way it's an SNA/SNFO board. So civilian SNA applicants like myself and a few others here are still anxious for the next one to happen.

I don't even think it's a fact that the next NFO board is closed to civs. Could be wrong, but I just heard that may be the case, not that it is. Can't wait until all this speculation and anticipation is over. Good luck getting SNA though! By the way, taking a quick glance at your profile I saw you were prorec N for the October board. I thought you had to wait six months to reapply to the same board?

I thought you had to wait six months to reapply to the same board?

RUFIO had put out that info from NRC, I think he said it was via a NOPO gram

RUFIO seems to get excellent info from his chain of command if he says 3 Feb then go with that, they don't have to give 3 weeks notice, I remember once they just decided hold the board on short notice because of schedules.

I haven't seen anything from RUFIO to confirm it. My OR was in the office until after 2200 last night though finalizing my kit, so maybe that's an indication. I don't think he's been in the office all the way through the work day since I started working with him let alone stayed that late.

So, my boss just found out that I am applying to become a naval aviator. Basically, a coworker of mine, who is a former marine was bragging about how I had applied to be a pilot and how he was so proud even though I was gonna be a squid *sniff*, and anyways my boss overheard -.- I work for a very large corporation that has a ton of government and defense contracts. My boss told me how disappointed he was in me... Goddamn I hope this board comes soon. I don't think he can fire me... Crossing my fingers I get SNA.

Thanks! I retested my ASTB and completed my Private Pilot Certificate so that counts as a significant enough change to reapply.

I have no clue why someone from a defense related firm would be disappointed that you want to join the military... Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure your job isn't secure until you're actually accepted. Game face time!

Myself VIA NRC and even NOPO came out of the grave to confirm.

For those of us without a current security clearance, need to provide a current employer reference. So they'll find out when they get the email from the OR

This being said, been sorting out MEPS paperwork since October :/
