Well I talked to my recruiter finally and he said my application was tabled. I already did a search and got a little bit of info about it but it's not matching up with what he told me. Basically he said being tabled was good, but I still need to apply for reconsideration. He also said that I can add more stuff to my package such as another LOR, grades from last semester, ect...

I am not really sure what the deal is at the moment and am kind of wondering if he is just blowing smoke up my rear. There would be no reason for that though; as I am sure he has told many applicants you didn't make the cut.

Any thoughts?

I'm pretty sure I've seen posts here about being tabled, although I have no idea where. It seems to me that it's a good thing, since you've still got a shot at it. Maybe the board is looking for a slight improvement in your package before giving the go ahead. Regardless, do what your recruiter says and add anything you have to your package. Good luck, and look forward to even more paperwork once you get your Pro-Rec.

I was told that this means the board was unwilling to turn down your application but didnt have the slots this month to accept you. which would indicate that they want to recommend you the next time around.

I have no clue how accurate this is, but I was selected after being tabled for a month.

AppleCello - When you were tabled did you have to resubmit the following month or was your application automatically rolled into the following month?

My recruiter told me he had been at this job for a year and has never had an applicant tabled, so he might not fully know what it is. (however unlikely)

I didn't have to do a thing, but that doesn't mean that my recruiter didnt do something... I don't know anything else about it other than what I've already said. Im sure that your recruiter will get it worked out.

I think I also got "tabled" because I applied and did not hear until 2 months later. I did not have to do anything in the meantime.

just got a letter in the mail, non select. i guess its time to start studying for the astb and apply again

I just got the call from my recruiter. He said I was picked up for SNA at the November board. I'm not sure why it took so long, but I don't care! Wooohoooo!
