I was just referring about my unit in my post, I'm sure there are plenty of people who did 2 years without ever getting their scholarship. I'll bet it is even more common now, considering that scholarships are so much harder to get these days.

I know a lot of guys who wanted to pick up advanced standing this fall but were denied. It is REALLY tough to get right now. The best thing to do is try for a scholarship as many times as you can.
