aside from the work life balance, what makes you say that?
As you said the worklife balance is a huge difference. CW tend to get better treatment (from what I saw in my 10 yrs) and most important of all, if you retired or decided to get out and wanted to continue a civilian career, CW will take you further. I currently work with a few retired and separated CWs (O3/O4/O5) and they all came in right out of the Navy making big bucks. Plus, the billets for CW are way better than SWOs billets. At least for me it is. Others might not think that way.

Selected for CW with the following stats:

Age: 23
Degree: B.A. in Middle Eastern Studies with concentrations in Governance and Arabic. Worth noting here that I have credits for Calc 1-3, and Physics 1 and 2.
GPA: 3.5
Prior Service: No, but was a USMC OCS med drop - unclear if that affected application.
Waivers: None
LORs: One from boss from a federal job. Another from a peer who is an Army NCO.

Originally set to ship out in July, but asked for and was approved to leave for the class that convenes at the end of this month. Thank you all for the motivation, knowledge, and camaraderie.

*Edited to add that OAR was 58.

Selected for CW and SWO. Having a hard time deciding between the two.

If you think you'd enjoy SWO, I'd consider it. Some benefits (acknowledging that what is/isn't a benefit is subjective) of SWO over CWO is the ability to command a warship (years down the line, but still) and be stationed in a wider array of geographic locations. On the duty station point, CWO duty stations aren't anything to make light of (and to be sure, CWOs have some duty stations/geographic areas that SWOs won't traditionally be stationed at), but SWO definitely provides you with more basing opportunities.

That said, for me, the quality of life as a SWO vs CWO makes the decision an easy one. And, note, there are decidedly more SWO to CWO lat transfers than the reverse, although I do know someone who lat transferred from CWO to SWO years ago (he just loved the SWO life). Are you married/thinking of starting a family? And, if so, do you think your long term plans in the Navy would be (e.g. could you see yourself making the Navy a career)? The sea-shore rotation life of SWOs can be very hard on families, though to be fair plenty do it. As a comparison point, there is only one "sea duty" requirement for CWOs over a career (and this can be met by supporting SPECWAR); I have zero intention to go back to sea. As others have mentioned, CWO probably sets you up better for high-paying post military careers, though there are some nuances to this.

There are other for and against arguments, I'm sure, but just some things to consider.
