Did anybody’s recruiter mention that they’re (big navy) is attempting get people slated for this OCS class moved to an earlier class?

Mine did. He said they have been doing this for months where candidates are scheduled way out and the end up going a month or two earlier.

Mine mentioned it too. From how he explained it they overbook slots, then retroactively fill them by pushing people up. My buddy got his OCS date in August, and they moved him up all the way to May.

I saw someone say there isn’t an H company and failing the IST doesn’t roll you anymore

That would be a development... in 2022 if you failed IST after the second attempt a day later they sent you home. any fails after that then sent you to H company

The key to seeing what changed is getting an up to date OCR. Need to get a hold of a current Candio

Drill has changed too. No more rifles at all. That I know is true, from a recent grad

Honestly I'm not really sad to see that one go

They guy in the hatch next to me forgot to lock his rifle up and the DI's locked it to his door closer during breakfast. Good times.

Newport is also crazy cold. Not excited about spending winter there lol

I always wanted to do OCS in the winter...make it as difficult and gross as possible anyways I'm in this class.
