Dude, as someone guilty of letting my name out before OCS, I can say: you're dumb. Not only have you made a couple posts which has gotten you bad rep (ie: brought attention to yourself as a nobody pre-OCSer), but you let your name out before OCS? Oh ya, care packages WILL be coming....

During my stay in hell, I was paranoid after seeing dudes get kicked out/rolled for all sorts of things. I heard carrot-waxing was an attritable offense, so I saved it for lib-o.
I remember a dude who was physically a SOLID candidate and was doing fine, farted in front of a DI, got slayed and some SERIOUS negative attention because of it, and ended up rolling out of the class come inspection time... I can't remember if it was the same guy or not, but I think he may have been the dude I'm thinking about who ended up getting attrited.
That must have been one hell of a fart!
Farting was commonplace at OCS, but I guess our DI had a REAL problem with it. He was PISSED. Something about "Nasty thing" and "Officers don't fart" or "You gonna do that in front of your sailors??" and "Push, Bitch!" whatever....
It was just basically this guy's ONLY impression on our DI before RLP, and it was NOT a good one...

As for farting: our DI was having a school circle when one of my classmates farted. He goes "who the fuck was that!" When no one fessed up, he just made us all back up like 30 ft. No one attrited because of that, nor did I hear of any stories of someone attriting for farts while at OCS.

I know you were kidding.
I am not saying fart = attrition. But it made a bad impression on the DI and that was the main thing he noticed before RLP. Probably a significant factor in his rolling and I'm sure there were a few other factors, but it didn't help.
