Hey, all. I just finished up making another applet for studying the OCS inspection knowledge (http://www.ocs.navy.mil/pdfs/OCR APP B - Inspection Knowledge.pdf), so I wanted to share it with anyone who might be interested. I'm also linking the first one I made in case anyone missed it when I posted it earlier.
I hope you find these useful. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or corrections.

Just a quick note on the rank insignia quiz. I was asked one silver bar for the Navy and it told me twice that O-2 LT(jg) was incorrect. The answer than came up that the correct answer is O-2 LT(jg). Just a small bug.

Thanks! By the way, for the service songs, do you know if we will be asked for specific verses, or the full song?

I think I see what's wrong, so I'll try to fix that. Thanks!
Full song
I figured, but breaking it up by verses makes it easier for me to memorize. Thanks for the clarification.

Do or do not... there is no try-Master Yoda
From what I've read here and elsewhere, everything in the gouge is required knowledge. That includes the Marine Hymn and the ranks.

Do you know if we are actually going to sing the national anthem and songs in the gouge or if we are going to yell them really fast when we recite them for inspection?

I don't know. Someone who has been to OCS can answer that question better than me.

I think I've squashed this bug. Let me know if you find any others!

do they ever ask for eternal father?
If "eternal father" = The Navy Hymn...

(from 10 April 2014)
Definitely focus on the general orders, code of conduct, rank and recognition, chain of command, and service songs. A lot of staff has started asking the Navy Hymn cause no one knows it, so either learn it or be prepared to take it as a hit for inspection.

I by no means am an advocate of learning only these however. I say learn it all, if you have the time put in the effort to learn it. If you are looking to do the minimum learn what the leadership traits are, be able to define your favorite and why it is your facorite. Learn your warfare insignia and while at OCS learn your room mates.

As a prior I was asked what mine were, EXW and small craft pin, which are not in the gouge or OCR. For ORLP I wasn't asked much from the gouge since I was a prior. I was asked a lot of odd ball questions such as "who is the commander of a cruiser?" "Who does he report to in a carrier strike group?", "what is the rotation speed of an E2 Hawk eye's rotodome?"

These questions are more designed to test you bearing and response cause you are expected to know the rest.
