Totally understand, are you active duty? I was talking with the OCM and detailer last week and they plan to have the PA changed by the next board to not allow any waivers for over 8 years TIS. If that happens this will be my only board, I'm already at 10 years in.

Would you mind forwarding me the OCM's Email? I am confused I need to forward my TIS/TIR Waiver ASAP. I want to submit by 14SEP

You just need to send your TIS waiver request letter, and the CO's endorsement for the waiver. When you send your package in then they send those to the OCM for the waiver approval. Does that make sense?

CNRC is the actual approval, but they essentially rubber stamp them and let the board figure it out.

Waivers go through CNRC first. Follow what the PA says…

No one ever does that anymore for OCS packages. It’s 2022.

They have specifically said all applications are to be submitted electronically and that no mailed packages will be accepted anymore.

It was sent out many many years ago, the reason is everything is uploaded and if an application is sent via mail they would need to scan and uploaded when the applicant should be doing that. The email address is something like ocsapplications@navy.mil or officerapplications@navy.mil, or you can email them to Paul Celestine directly.

also the 1420 is notorious for being out of date, it is an NPC publication while OCS is an NRC program and NPC won't bother to update their instruction each time NRC has a change.

Has anyone received the official receipt and forwarding of package to the board email from Mr. Celestin? I know we all received the automatic response but I am waiting on his official one. It feels like it's taking longer than last time lol.
