I would say it is the GPA, you are .01 above the minimum and they don't like giving a pro rec Y only to have to take it away if your GPA happened to drop, and I have seen them take a pro rec Y away.

Haha no but I did take undergraduate classes there. I hate to admit it but UT has a great MPA program.

Okay, that makes sense. My OR said that graduating may be a big enough change to resubmit, I am done in December, so I am looking for a job in the aero industry, and I may be able to afford the flight lessons for a license and those would hopefully count for changes also. Does that sound right?

Not sure if hours themselves are significant enough to be considered a "major change", but actually earning your PPL should.

Checking back in one final time. I heard from my OR, and as I suspected I came up short for NFO. He is new to Officer recruiting, and he said it was my age, but I just turned 27 and I was told by my previous OR that 29 was the age for NFO. I'm pretty sure it was just an inferior kit relative to everyone else who got selected.

Non-prior, 53/5/5/5, 2.83 GPA, degree in History.

Lesson learned: don't screw around at community college until you know why you're there! My first two years there absolutely killed my GPA, which was like 3.5 after I transferred, lol.

The good news is that I was selected for SWO, so I'm still excited to serve! Good luck everyone.
