If any of you ever flew this aircraft, here is where it is now.

That makes me feel my age. Some of my airframes got repurposed as KC130 J fuselage trainers at least.
 
Some tape, a bucket of nuts and bolts, and four Lycoming engines and that a baby could be flyable again! What has happened to the American “can do” spirit?
 
Don't think I ever flew that. VPNAVY site lists it as an Update II aircraft delivered by Lockheed in '79. Pictures I've found online are from 2004 with a VP-30 tail, and the antennae seem consistent with early C variants. Unless it got retrofitted to a BMUP variant, it probably would've been removed from service not long after that.

I'm doubtful of the NASA association, as N436NA is the number for the NASA C-130 whereas NASA's Orion is a P-3B, is registered N426NA, has been in service since '91, and was operational as late as this past year.
