Yep....a buddy of mine got attrited in late FAM's in the HT's....he was sent to infantry, that was in '98 though.KBayDog said:Not in this Marine Corps. You can DOR/attrite, but the Corps will still use you for at least the remainder of your contract.

I really don't know, he was one motivated Marine, he was not the kind of guy that would accept anything that would put him on a desk. I think that if he was not going to fly he wanted to be at the front with the grunts.Taxman2A said:You say "sent to infantry" as if it was forced upon him... Was this the case? If so that's strange, I hadn't heard of them ever forcing people into grunts... that always seemed like more of an Army thing.
