Six CH-46E Sea Knight helicopters with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 262 (Reinforced), known as the Flying Tigers, approach a landing site near Apra Harbor on the island of Guam, Sept. 19. The helicopters flew from the USS Essex (LHD 2) transporting Marines of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit to perform a simulated airfeild seizure in support of the MEU's Certification Exercise. Ha, ha.

A flight of six isn't exactly uncommon, especially during CERTEX. What you DON'T see is that there's probably also Shitters in the mix - as well as skid escort. Big packages are the norm during workups.

Don't hate because you guys are hard pressed to get six P-3s safe for flight...
