If a multiple OR are saying January is the date I would say just assume it’s january until your OR finds out. Try to get your packet in ASAP, if you’re already submitted then you’re good to go.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. I’m already submitted so I should be good to go. The only thing is I’m currently traveling out of state and I was hoping to get an answer from him about if I need to cut my trip short. I was supposed to be back February 1st and now I’m thinking I should plan to be back January 1st just in case...

I'm having the same issue with NASIS. They had a countdown to when it'll be back online last I checked. I think it said today or tomorrow. Can't remember exactly, but I wouldn't expect it to take much longer than tomorrow.

Just tossing in a correction to this earlier post on the thread and an update for myself.

GPA is 2.57, not 2.54. Got cleared from MEPS, no waivers. My OR has sent off all of my paperwork as of last week. I checked with him to ask about the Feb board getting moved to Jan 16th, but he said he knew nothing about it. He asked what my ASTB scores were, I told him, and he said that I should be on the next auto-select board.

Applying SNA. Feeling pretty good. Recruiter says there's going to be a pre-board in late December and I should hear some good news from him around New Years. I didn't really press him for details, but he sounded pretty confident.

@troth Did you get any new information as to when the next auto-select board is going to be? Looking to hop on that board as well.
@RUFiO181 Is there a GPA cutoff for auto-select board? Because I've seen it mentioned that people didn't make the cut for the board due to ASTB scores.

No, I think I've been working him enough lately so haven't bothered him with this. I figure that we'll know either way soon enough.

I spoke to my OR yesterday, there is an auto qual board at the end of the month — 12/31. But he said because that’s New Years Eve, the board will probably work a couple days early. Hope that helps.

It’s weird that some of you were told that the board applications and board date was changed. However, I emailed the OCS questions personnel regarding any board dates being moved and they ( Paul) said no board dates have changed at all

@NavyOffRec and myself have put it out countless times that processors at NRC barely get the most up to date information regarding boards and board changes. Imagine getting called by fleet applicants all the time being asked questions instead of being able to do your normal job?

My recruiter told me it was moved up to January so I’d imagine those saying that they didn’t hear anything about that probably haven’t been informed yet like RUFiO181 said.
