Is this book still accurate (as it was written in 1996) for someone beginning the NFO pipeline? I know several things have changed since then such as OCS moving to Newport and the decomissioning of several aircraft. Not sure what has changed with the pipeline itself since that time.

No. You are right. Lots has changed. It may give you a little perspective, but it won't be super accurate.
There have been several changes in the past decade and a half with the way NFOs train including aircraft flown, duty stations, and even where you will wing.

Thanks! I figured that would be the case looking at the dates on some of these posts. Do you know of any current books that would be helpful on the matter?
