Attached is the reason why the results can't be posted here or on any other public platform. I know some may have questions about NAVADMINS etc, but the following three reasons I believe is vital regarding the whole situation. All information is for educational purposes, you don't have to follow or listen, but if you run across this post, you can't say you haven't been educated on it.
Privacy Act Coverage
The Privacy Act protects records that can identify individuals, especially when tied to official personnel actions (like selections, promotions, assignments).
A Navy OCS selection list contains Personally Identifiable Information (PII) (names, ranks, sometimes DoD ID numbers, commissioning sources). Even just names tied to selection results fall under this.
Official Use Only
Selection lists posted on Navy SharePoint are meant for internal distribution within the DoD.
Publishing them on a public platform (social media, blogs, etc.) makes them accessible to unauthorized persons, which is an unauthorized disclosure.
Navy Policy
Navy guidance (DON CIO, SECNAV M-5210.1, and DON Privacy Program) makes it clear: you cannot post PII outside official channels.
Commands typically wait until Navy public affairs or official Navy.mil announcements release the list publicly before Sailors can share it.
