Pro Rec'd SNA, but I'm injured

McCPilot

SNA Final Select
Hey I've got the same problem and have a related question. Last July I broke my Tibial Plateau in my left knee and had a screw put in. It's healed very well and I've been riding the bike 16-20 miles every other day as well as swimming in between in order to get in shape for OCS. My recruiter seems to think I can get in the last Pcola class but I want to make sure my knee is 100% before heading off to OCS. Is there a way to push back your start date if your physically not ready for OCS? The easiest solution is to play it safe and not take a chance. Just curious if there is a way to bump back the date if something isn't right.

That's true sir, but personal experience and wikipedia also point to weak leg muscle development.

No, I actually went to a physician who told me my quads were too weak as a first time runner some time back, then I read up on it on my spare time. I just like to back up my facts a little before I go spouting things I was told over a year ago that may be inaccurate. I can definately say for sure that quad focus exercises fixed my runner's knee.
