So I've been trying to get in shape lately and things are going pretty well (sorta). My pushups are great, I'm greatly improving on my sit-ups, but my running is what really could hold me back. Of course I don't plan on doing the PRT immediately so I have time to get in shape, but is there a certain score they prefer? I see the chart with 'Outstanding, Excellent, etc.' but do they want all Outstandings or do they just take averages and such? I plan to push myself hard, just seeing how they score things or how much my application hinges on a few seconds of running.
Also, I read on another site that swimming is part of the PRT. Is this true nowadays or is it strictly pushups/situps/1.5 mile run? If swimming is involved, well...I certainly have some work to do.
