It's all fun and games until your DI smokes you for minor mistakes, or when the bolt on your 30-year-old fails to latch open.Looks like so much fun and so much to learn!

Does anyone know if they deny your OCS application whether or not they will tell you why? Do they provide feedback as to what to improve on, or do they just tell you you didn't make it?

Thanks for the feedback guysThere is "feedback" which is often kind of general, years ago they did that as well and we found old board results from years prior that had essentially the same feedback. They also need to be more PC than a recruiter that has seen a few rounds of boards can be. There are of course differences between each designators and each one has what would be considered the ideal candidate and there are of course the selection of a person that technically shouldn't be selected, just because that happens to one doesn't mean it will happen to those with similar stats, yes people have been selected with a 5, but that is a rare situation.
Good GPA, good degree and good ASTB and you should cover most of your bases.
I went to OCS Nov 2021. We were the first class that they allowed leave on Christmas and New years since covid. They gave us 2 choices. You could either go home 9 days for Christmas and be back before New years or go for 6 days for new years. Or you could choose not to use leave and save it for after graduation.Does anybody else have details on the holiday schedule and how it works?
