Amazingly true. I was actually at Casa Grande standing alert 5 much of the morning. Stood down to alert 30 for the rest of the day. My IA is at Eloy. Glad you put some miles behind you. Sorry about the door. Hope you can get it fixed for less than a grand. Be safe.Crossing the Colorado River, in the morning, when it was a cool 100 degrees!

Now that I think of it my door incident was about five miles from Eloy AZ…I think that @wink might have been in range for a rescue!
Should've flown by E25, I would have waved and provided a snack and cold drink.Crossing the Colorado River, in the morning, when it was a cool 100 degrees!

E25!! I am on to you. Pagastanie, western expansion under the guise of family reunification. You will have to do better than the Nazi playbook for the Sudetenland.Should've flown by E25, I would have waved and provided a snack and cold drink.
Staying about to 1000 agl. Right now the DA for the field is about 7600. Not really getting beat up, it handles the gusts quite well, but the frequent fuel stops are killer.I was gunna say you are having more fun then the truck drivers, but not if you are getting the crap beat out of ya. How is (was) the ride? What altitude?
The people of E25 welcomed the Pagstanis with open arms and liquor cabinets. Very democratic.E25!! I am on to you. Pagastanie, western expansion under the guise of family reunification. You will have to do better than the Nazi playbook for the Sudetenland.
Not that good! I average about 16 GPH (average for piston helis) but at this heat and density altitude I am burning closer to 19…and the headwinds don’t help.Godspeed @Griz882 - this is awesome. Truly.
What are you doing fuel flow wise? 10 or 12 GPH?
You are in SIGMET city there it looks like!
19 GPH with a IO360 4 banger? Wow!Not that good! I average about 16 GPH (average for piston helis) but at this heat and density altitude I am burning closer to 19…and the headwinds don’t help.
