Quick video on final solo leg of the day. Happy Friday!
@Griz882 it is well made - in ADI mode it packs a lot of info on one display - also to go from using the knob to set altimeter to setting alt preselect, requires touching the display area. Stuff like that should be easier. But does fit easily in existing instrument cut-out.I like the G-275! I have one of those on my Christmas list for the Griz-O-Copter.
30 hours in a helicopter would be plenty, for anyone. I think I would pass on the return trip, and jump on a C130 headed west.Sikorsky Celebrates 100th Anniversary by Highlighting its Enduring Support of Missions in Europe at Paris Air Show | Soldier Systems Daily

An amazing accomplishment
Would you like a seat on the tanker or the trail maintenance bird?30 hours in a helicopter would be plenty, for anyone. I think I would pass on the return trip, and jump on a C130 headed west.
That’s where they pipe critical information into the implant all Marines get. In fact, I’m still required to plug in at least once a year. It’s not painful, you just hear the Marine Hymn and relearn the fundamentals of a good “ooorah.”For the Marines out there - this is an official USMC PA photo - part of a gallery celebrating women in the Marine Corps. I assume this is an MV-22B pilot.
What is the device on her helmet and on the top glare shield?
Is flight suit rank insignia now a thing for Marines? (I think its far time it should be)

Not Day HUD, not exactly. It's the Helmet Display & Tracking System (HDTS) from Elbit systems. Primary purpose is gun/rocket CCIP, but it functions as a HUD.Come on, Chuck. You need better RECCE. That's a Sierra and a Navy pilot.
I'm guessing the connection is the day HUD, which looks way less bulky than the legacy NVG setup.
I definitely need remedial training. ?Come on, Chuck. You need better RECCE. That's a Sierra and a Navy pilot.
