Re-designation after Final Select?

Did you find out any information about re-designating? I designated as NFO in BDCP about 4 months ago because I was medically disqualified for SNA due to my depth perception. Recently I have been seeing an optometrist and I'm currently on my way to fixing my depth perception with vision therapy. Is it possible for me to re-designate as a SNA?

Now please understand that I am glad to be in the Navy regardless but if I can be in the front seat, then I'm going to try and take it.

So does anyone know whether or not you can transfer jobs after signing the contract for BDCP? I can now officially say that I can pass the RANDOT depth perception test so I'm quite interested to know if you are able to. Otherwise I guess my only option is to be in the top 10% of my flight school.

The answer is yes, you can redesignate. One of my good friends entered as supply and managed to switch to pilot. It was a lot of work on his part... he got his PPL etc and had to reapply, I believe, 4 times. So it is possible... but not definite... and will require lots of work.

Well if godspeed wasn't in OCS I'd recommend talking to him. He went from Supply to SNA AFTER final select. It takes tenacity and probably multiple attempts, but it is possible.
