OCS graduates do no have to do another complete flight physical, unless for some reason they are up for their annual.

You need your PPL to get out of IFS.

fair enough.....I'd just say that for general wear in most climates, I find the polywool to be more comfortable.

I concur, I just hate the south... (that happens when you go to a school which is north of about 80% of the country...)

OCS grads DO complete a short form flight physical which should only take one morning if you are good to go. Also, if you have turned 25 since your pre-OCS physical then you will be required to do the whole long-form all over again.

I didn't and know many who didn't.

It's possible that this has changed since you were here, but of course mileage may vary so to speak. All the guys who checked in when I did were OCS, and they all ended up doing short forms when we had our physical appts. FWIW the check in packet says OCS types just go to branch medical (instead of NAMI), but that's not how they had us do it.
