I just looked under my CP and found out that the names of those who posted points for me... I've got two thoughts about this, the first one is funny in that I only have one negative point against me which was given to me in a Kerry vs. Bush thread, I've been pissed at Patsmack for the last 5 months now because I figured he was the one that give me the negative point on an opinion, I then only found out today that bch was the one who did it. Ha you can't hide now. Okay and the other point is gay in that I was given a couple points by Cantseeme and I couldn't for a couple months... and now I can... okay it sounded better on paper.

I noticed that, too. Someone who will remain nameless gave me negative points and gave a postive comment for the O'Reilly V Moore thread. I wondered who the goofball was, now I know and knowing is half the battle. I can see you, too, and it is nice.

A serious question: I have only given positive reputation points so far, but one that shows up under my usercp as a point that I have given comes up gray. The others are all green. What does the gray mean?
 
Gray means that you did not have enough posts written yet to affect someones rep. (minimum is 15) or you tried to give someone another point before you gave out 1 to 15 other people.

It means that whomever gave you those points doesn't have enough repuation points for it to affect your rep point count.

On another note, CantSeeMe has given me negative rep points 3 times and never signed them....oh well. Apparently I really p*ssed him/her off also.

Oh well, I knew the proverbial fecal matter would hit the fan when I pulled aside the curtain and let ppl see who gave them their neg/pos rep points. In the long run, I think this will help drop the spurious rep points.

Also, if you are thinking about going "tit for tat" and hitting someone back, I will just go in and delete them. And drive your rep negative.

How do you find "rep point" etc? I have seen my reputation comments when they are sent to me, but don't see any points. Is that the green boxes under the avatar? Or the stars under the name? Forgive me....I'm new.

User CP... scroll down to Rep Points Received... there will be a total on the bar.
