How does a foreign national join the US Military? Do not you have to have some bonafidies? Like at least being a premanent US resident? Can you just walk up to the fence and say " I wanna join your navy?" This guy is in Canada and a Canadian citizen?

Understand you do not have to be a US Citizen, but some ties to US?

We got 22 year olds too. They hate it here. It's nothing like the fleet they said. It's more like their 5th year of high school and I don't blame them.
