It's official I knew I should have studied for the ASTB more but this has been a rough semester in school. Anyway OAR 58, 7,7,7. I took form 2, and I plan on retaking the ASTB at the end of July. I know I can do much better then what I did, but I set the date for 04/30/04 and I stuck with it. I know those scores are not competitive for aviation, so I am going to study hard in July and kick the ASTB's ASS! I am also wondering what some of the scores on the ASTB for some of the airwarriors members are. Anybody been pro rec'd with scores this low?

I got in with a 43 OAR and 3's and 4's.....its about the whole package...but that was also 2 years ago

NuSnake, you got in as an SNA? What was your GPA, see I am counting on a kick as ASTB score to help me. Because I had a couple horrible semesters, but am in the process of bringing myself out of the ****ter as far as GPA. As far as LOR's my uncle isn't exactly George W. Bush, so I need kick as ASTB. The chief told me I have a really good shot at NFO, SWO, and Supply. He told me in so many words I need to have a higher score if I want SNA, Intel, or Crypto.

I have heard of just everyday guys with no political connection, except reigstered voters, get LORs from their senators. My CPA's brother in law got a letter from each Senator and was accepted to the Air Force Accedemy, after being rejected on his first try.

I had a little over a 3.0 when selected. LORs were oinly from proffessors and people who I knew at church. I had decent activities in college, but it wasnt like I was volunteering all the time, haha or at all except for what I did in my fraternity. I guess they look more at the whole person. Good luck. Make the best overall package possible.

Thanks for the imput guys, I am very confident I will have an exceptional package to put in once it is all said and done. I will be taking the ASTB over in a few months to make my ASTB score excellent
