Bro, I answered your question. If you really want to know, GOOGLE. You'd be amazed at what you can learn with a google seach.

This assuming that by "longitude", you meant length. If you meant beam, camera angle still stands. Ships in the foreground tend to look bigger than ships in the background.

google or wikipedia information is ok however is not too reliable:eek:
, different measures for the same ship can be found. i need your help. I am looking for trust and official information.:icon_mi_1

Since none of us are British Naval Officers, you're not going to get any "official" information here about those platforms.

I don't know if you are for real or not but taking Bubba's advice I typed Royal Navy into Google and got this: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=royal+navy

Since it is a surface ship I clicked on Surface Fleet under the first heading, the official Royal Navy website and got this: http://www.royal-navy.mod.uk/server/show/nav.1244

I then clicked on Aircraft Carriers on the right hand column and got this: http://www.royal-navy.mod.uk/server/show/nav.1245

That has this info at the bottom of the page:

CVS Statistics Displacement: 22,000 tonnes
Length: 210m / 686ft
Beam: 36m / 118ft

Speed: 30 kts
Complement: 726 Ship's company 384 Air Group personnel
Armament: 3 x Phalanx/Goalkeeper (CIWS) 2 x 20mm Close range guns
Aircraft: A mix (depending on role) of Harrier GR7 and GR9s, Sea King AEW and Sea King and Chinook stores or troop-carrying helicopters and Merlin anti-submarine helicopters.
Propulsion: COGAG (Combined Gas and Gas), 2 Shafts
4 x Gas Turbines producing 72MW

I then selected the three different carriers listed on the left hand column and got the following info from the HMS Ark Royal page:

HMS Ark Royal is larger than her 2 sisters, Invincible and Illustrious, at 210 metres (683 feet) long. She has a maximum beam of 36 metres (117 feet) and a displacement of 20,000 tonnes.

I am not sure why they would have a discrepancy but the info on both pages is for the HMS Ark Royal.

I then looked up HMS Invincible and got this: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&safe=off&q=hms+invincible

Knowing you don't like Wikipedia I clicked on the first non-Wikipedia link and got this: http://www.naval-technology.com/projects/invincible/

At the bottom of the page I clicked on specifications and got this:

Crew
Ship crew 680 with 60 officers
Aircrew 350 with 80 officers
Dimensions
Overall length 194m
Overall width at deck level 33.6m
Length deck runway 170m
Width deck runway 13.2m
Full load displacement 20,500t

Is that good enough for you?

P.S. Amazing what a little Google searching will do for you........

Why the hell should anyone on this site trust you or provide official information? Especially when you are being so cryptic?

Google it or e-mail a Royal Navy Public Affairs Officer. Or take what Flash gave you and move along.

Either way, this thread is done.
